The straps on my watches are tan and dark brown, which is probably why this brown Clic H gets worn more than anything else in the drawer. Marron Glace has a glaze to it, deep chestnut with a little red in the mix, and set in smooth plain enamel it looks wet rather than painted, especially in low evening light.
Sizing, for reference, is a stated 6.3 inch circumference with the band at 0.47 inches across, and the finish is rose gold plating, which suits this particular brown because both are warm. The toggle clasp turns to expose the H and then clicks back; I have opened and closed mine hundreds of times and the mechanism still feels solid rather than loose.
Wear it with the leather strap watch on the same arm for a coherent wrist, or alone with a camel coat and a cream roll-neck, which is the combination that always gets a comment. In summer it reads as a well-chosen oddity against light linen, and that in itself is worth something when everything else in the drawer is pale.
One honest caveat: dark glossy enamel does not hide the small stuff. Fine surface lines appear where the bracelet meets a desk edge over years, and rings on the same hand are not its friends. Keep it in its pouch, avoid solvents and scent, and the shine will last. Made in France.
