Lime is a citrus green with yellow in it, and on Togo’s pebbled grain it looks alive rather than synthetic, because the grain scatters light and keeps the colour from reading as flat plastic. Silver hardware keeps it fresh and slightly acid. On the larger stated frame the grain shows more of its pebble pattern, so it reads as texture from a distance.
Note the measurement on this listing carefully: the stated size is thirty-five by twenty-five by eighteen centimetres, which is a larger frame than the other Birkin 25s in this run. That means more room inside, and a different balance on the arm.
With that capacity I can take a phone, a cardholder, keys, a small cosmetics pouch, sunglasses and still have space along the base. It is closer to a daily carry-all than a dinner bag, and it holds its shape well under a full load thanks to Togo’s firm grain. With the extra room I have also used it as a work bag on light days, and the handles are comfortable when it is carrying that much.
The colour is the real consideration. A bright yellow-green is a bold statement and it will glare against certain reds and pinks, so it rewards a wardrobe of white, navy, denim, grey and black. I would not call it a neutral.
Maintenance is straightforward: Togo resists scratching and cleans with a soft cloth, though light citrus greens can fade in prolonged sun.
