Some colours need a whole outfit built around them; this one just needs a decision. The mint on the narrow Clic H is cool and slightly hazy, the colour of sea glass rather than of toothpaste, and because the enamel is plain, with no pattern to soften it, the shade arrives exactly as it looks in the picture. That honesty is rarer than it sounds.
The band is rose gold plated and about 0.47 inches wide, so it covers a working strip of wrist without taking it over entirely. Opening is by the toggle clasp that turns to reveal an H, the same mechanism across the Clic family, and the envelope of the bracelet is slim enough to sit under a man’s-shirt cuff and reappear when you pour a drink.
I keep the rest of the arm plain when I wear this: a bare wrist on the other side, or a simple ring. It likes white, beige and pale blue, and it lifts charcoal knitwear in a way that feels deliberate rather than decorative. On holiday it is the piece that makes a tan look intentional, matched with nothing but a linen sleeve and a woven bag.
An honest note after months of wear: pale cool greens can turn pale and cool grey in winter light, which some people love and some do not, so try it against your usual cold-weather clothes. Store it separate from keys and rings, and wipe the enamel with a soft dry cloth rather than a wet one. Made in France.
