This is the coolest, palest corner of the Neo Garden Party range: ecru canvas grounded by Blue Glacier and Gris Pantin leathers. The blue is the color of old ice or a winter sky, and the gray keeps it from floating away.
I carry mine in warm months, when a dark bag feels like carrying a coat. Twenty-three centimeters long and sixteen high is enough for a phone, a small pouch of cards and coins, keys, a lipstick and sunglasses, and the ten centimeter gusset lets everything sit in one layer so nothing buries anything else. The handles are short, hand carry, no strap: a small bag with no dangling hardware to catch on summer dresses.
Negonda trim gives the pastel palette an anchor, soft matte leather against woven cloth, which reads far quieter in person than it does in photographs. The silver hardware glints once at the closure and then behaves. The trim has stayed pale and even, with no darkening at the folds even after a full summer.
The honest notes come with the palette. Pale blue and pale gray show water marks, so sudden showers are an event; the canvas will not stain-proof itself, and mine has learned to come home before the weather does. Like every canvas piece, it also fades evenly with sun, which is charming, but a change.
Worn with white, denim or navy, it looks like weather rather than fashion. I mean that kindly, and mostly to its benefit.
