Three shades of warm in one small bag: ecru canvas body, beige and Ebene leathers on the trim, and a silhouette that stays out of the way. The Neo Garden Party 23 in this colorway is what I pack when the trip is short and the photos will be seen by relatives.
It holds precisely what a day holds: phone, cardholder, keys, lip balm and sunglasses, arranged in a cavity no bigger than a paperback. Because the top snaps at two leather tabs, contents stay put between stop and stop, and the short handles make it a natural hand or forearm carry. There is no strap; on this size I have never wanted one.
The material story is the point: cloth takes the volume and the light weight, leather takes the touch and the structure, and the warm beige tones keep the whole thing from looking like a blank page. Silver hardware sits small and bright at the closure.
Keeping it looking new is a chore with a short memory: pale canvas attracts marks, and the beige leather will not thank you for being crammed against indigo jeans in a hot car. I keep a dust bag in the closet and use it more than I expected. The compensating virtue is airflow and lightness, so this bag spends minimal effort being carried.
Lovely in summer, easy in town, and honest about its limits. That is the whole review.
