The Danse has no top handle, and that is not an omission: the strap is how this bag lives. Laid flat it looks like a folio; worn crossbody it becomes a small bag with more personality than its outline can carry. It is the one I hand to friends who say they want something a bit different.
A 22 cm width and 16 cm height over just 7 cm of depth, in pressed Evercolor with silver hardware. The flatness is the point: it hugs the body, slips under a coat, and never fights the shape of the person carrying it.
Inside goes a phone, a wallet, keys and a folded magazine, and because the base is broad, nothing has to be stacked. The strap routes long for crossbody or short against the hip; on the hip setting I flip it so the turnlock faces out, which keeps the bag easy to open in a crowd. I have worn it both ways on the same day and liked both.
The honest limit is depth. A flat 7 cm body holds less than its outline suggests, so this is not the bag for a water bottle or a hardback. What it does hold, it holds elegantly, and the Evercolor keeps its composure even when the bag is half empty.
Anemone is a purple for people who claim not to wear purple: it behaves until you look directly at it, deepening in low light and reading boldest in the morning.
