The first thing I noticed about this Kelly Classique To Go wallet was how much of the Kelly bag’s front it carries, the flap and strap detail included, and how little of that shape it costs you inside a bag. At 19 by 11.5 by 1.5 cm it is a long wallet that stays genuinely flat, so it slides into the slim compartment of a tote or under the flap of an evening clutch without bulging.
Epsom calfskin is the reason it keeps that crisp look. The grain is heat-embossed, so the surface is even and lightly cross-hatched, and the leather is firm enough to hold its shape instead of softening into a floppy rectangle after a year of daily use. Black with silver hardware is the version I recommend to anyone who wants a wallet to disappear into whatever bag they happen to be carrying.
Inside, the layout is what you would expect from a long wallet: card slots along the top, a long flat compartment for notes and receipts, and a zipped pocket for coins or a spare key. I run two bank cards, a transit card, a driving licence, folded notes and a couple of receipts through mine, and the flap still closes without strain. The honest trade-off is that 1.5 cm is slim on purpose, so if you keep every loyalty card you have ever been handed, look at a gusseted wallet instead.
One practical note before you decide. Black Epsom shows fine dust and fingerprints on the flap more than you might expect, though a dry cloth sorts that in seconds, and it hides ink marks far better than any pale colour would. I have carried mine through commutes, a wedding and two long flights, and the corners have barely changed.
