The same hot pink, a different metal, and an entirely different bag. With silver hardware, Rose Extreme behaves less like a cocktail and more like a graphic print: the cool metal sharpens the pink into something almost sporty, and I started wearing it to the office on days when I wanted my outfit to do the arguing for me. It has even sat through a client meeting without embarrassing me.
Epsom takes the saturated dye evenly and the rigidity keeps the 25 by 17 by 7 cm silhouette exact, so the colour looks deliberate rather than soft. Contents on a working day: phone, card holder, keys, a slim notebook, a compact, lipstick, and the sunglasses I never actually put on until five o’clock. After-work drinks need no change of bag.
Silver against deep pink is the pairing I recommend to anyone who finds gold hardware too traditional; the metal reads modern, and the bag looks especially good against charcoal, white and denim, three things that fill my week anyway. I like it best with a grey jumper and silver earrings, which sounds obvious until you try it with anything else.
Honest note: this is the loudest thing in my wardrobe and it knows it. On days when I do not want to be asked about it, I carry something else. The other trade is that bright pink shows worn corners eventually, so I rotate it rather than carry it daily. Treated as an accent, it is one of the most cheerful objects I own.
