Change the clasp and the same green changes job. Where gold makes Vert Yucca feel warm, silver pulls it somewhere cooler and cleaner, closer to garden foliage after rain. I keep reaching for this version on overcast days and with anything grey.
Measuring nineteen by fifteen by four centimetres, it is small enough to sit quietly against the body and structured enough that it never collapses when you set it down. My daily load is modest and fits with room left: phone, two cards in a case, keys, a balm, and sunglasses without their case at a squeeze.
The Epsom surface is where the practicality lives. It is embossed, so the pattern is in the leather rather than only on it, and it shrugs off the kind of knocks that leave marks on smooth glossy hides. The silver H is polished and unfussy, staying bright without shouting on a green this saturated.
My honest note is about light, not quality: under some office fluorescent tubes the colour leans slightly teal, which I like, but if you want a strictly grassy green, the gold version reads warmer. Either way, this is a green that works hardest in daylight hours. Daylight is its natural habitat, and I now plan errands around it more than I should. After a year of steady wear without a single mark, I would choose this leather again in any colour.
