Green is the hardest colour to get right in a handbag, and it is the one I get asked about most. Vert Yucca succeeds because it is a leafy, mid-tone green rather than a jewel shade, so it reads friendly next to denim, camel and white without any styling effort. I tested it with all three in one week.
A four-centimetre deep body at 19 cm gives it the standard mini proportions, and the contents are what you would expect: smartphone, card case, keys, a lipstick, maybe a folded tote for errands. The flap opens flat, so I can see everything at once instead of fishing around.
Paired with gold hardware, the green warms up and starts to feel almost autumnal, which is why I keep it in rotation past summer. The strap crosses cleanly over a raincoat, and every edge has stayed sharp through a full spring of use. The Epsom grain adds a second texture on top of the colour, a fine even embossing that resists scratches and wipes clean after rain.
One honest limitation: bright green is not evening wear, at least not in my wardrobe. This is a daytime bag, a lunch-and-gallery bag, and it knows it. Within that brief it is close to perfect, and the shape means it will outlast the mood that bought it. I have yet to pair it with a jacket it did not improve.
