Gris Misty is Etoupe’s cooler cousin: where Etoupe leans brown, this pale grey leans silver, like morning fog over concrete. On a monochrome outfit it almost vanishes; against navy it sharpens the whole look without ever raising its voice. It is the most unobtrusive colour in the range, and the one I recommend when someone asks for grey but means soft.
The flat 10.6 by 5.5 inch body takes a phone, cards, keys, a lip balm and little else, and it rides high on the hip when I shorten the strap. I wear it under an open coat in spring, where its slimness keeps it out of the way of sleeves, seatbelts and doorframes alike. It also never drags the shoulder, even after a long walk.
Togo’s pebbled grain in this light tone has a soft, cloudy look, and the palladium-plated hardware stays understated; the perforated H and the two Clou de Selle snaps are the only jewellery. The Fibre canvas strap is colour-matched well enough to disappear against most outfits. The strap hardware is finished in the same palladium tone, so the whole bag reads as one calm piece.
An operational note rather than a complaint: the two snaps want a firm, deliberate press to seat together, and a casual tap sometimes leaves one side open. Once you learn the gesture it is second nature, but this is not a bag you can reliably close one-handed while running for a train. Once the press becomes muscle memory, the design makes the rest feel over-engineered.
