This is the pochette that ends arguments about neutrals: 37 Gold, a soft camel, with matching gold hardware, together making a bag that flatters almost any outfit and records almost nothing. I keep it loaded and ready by the door because it has never been the wrong choice.
The body is 22 cm long, 12 cm tall and 7 cm wide, and the flap sits over a phone, a small wallet, keys and a lipstick easily. If I am carrying only a cardholder and a phone, the bag holds its shape as though full, which is the trick of a rigid leather.
That leather is Epsom, heat-embossed, hard-wearing and effectively immune to fingernails and car keys. It will not soften, sag or stretch, so it asks that you pack for it rather than the other way round. The gold hardware tones closely with the skin, which is why the colorway feels so calm.
Camel is also the most forgiving color here, since a mark simply blends into the dye. Between that and the scratch-proof surface, this is the version I would hand to someone who wants one pochette and no worries.
One comparison worth making: in a softer leather this pochette would round out at the corners within a season, which some people love and I do not. Epsom keeps its edges, and mine has been in weekly rotation for months without a single mark on the flap, base or handle. It is the least anxious bag I own.
