Some pinks pass as neutrals because they are quiet enough; Rose Fever is not one of them. This is a saturated, alive pink that lifts a plain outfit in one move, and I wear it precisely on the days I cannot be bothered to dress up but still want to look like I made a choice. It fits a listed 6.7 inch wrist with a 0.47 inch band.
The plating is palladium, a bright silvery finish, and the combination with hot pink is deliberately cool rather than sweet. The toggle clasp turns to release the hidden H, and once closed the bracelet sits flush with almost no gap, which stops the colour from looking like a cheap novelty on the arm. The enamel itself is smooth and mirror-flat.
I have three ways of wearing mine: against a white shirt and grey trousers for work, where it is the only colour in the room; with a navy sweater at the weekend; and beside raw denim, which sounds wrong and looks right. Bought as a gift, it is one of the safest vivid colours in the range, because it suits nearly every skin tone.
Now the caveat. Bright glossy enamel is cheerful and also transparent about age: after a few seasons the polish dulls slightly along the edges where you rest your wrist on a desk, so it is not the piece to buy if you want it to look untouched in five years. A wipe after each wear keeps it looking new. Made in France.
