What I enjoy most about the narrow Clic H is that the fastening is the design. The bracelet opens and closes on a toggle clasp that, seen from the outside, reads as a letter H, so the mechanism stops being something to hide and becomes the detail you notice first. In Rose Candeur the whole thing feels lighter than it looks.
Dimensions, for once, are generous rather than cramped: a listed circumference of 6.3 inches with a 0.47 inch band, so it covers a little more wrist than the Uni range while staying slim enough to disappear under a shirt cuff when it needs to. The finish is rose gold plated and the enamel is smooth and glossy, with a soft pink that shifts with the light rather than sitting flat like paint.
In practice I wear mine over the top of a fitted sleeve, where the pink reads as an accessory rather than a layer, or bare-armed with a white shirt in summer. It shares a wrist well with a thin leather watch strap and with other Clic H colours; pink plus navy is the combination I recommend to anyone unsure about pastels, because navy gives the pink something to work against.
Two candid notes. The clasp must be fully toggled shut, otherwise pulling a jumper over your hand can open it, so listen for the click. And as charming as pale enamel is, it shows scuffs from rings and keys more than darker shades, so mind what it shares a pocket with. Made in France.
