Two greens live in this line, and they are nothing alike. Where Vert Bosphore is a dark, academic green, Z6 Malachite is the vivid mineral green of polished stone — brighter, cooler and frankly more fun. In taurillon clemence on the Bolide 27, that brightness gets a soft, slouchy home: twenty-seven by twenty by ten centimetres of thick, pliable grain.
Clemence makes this bag tactile in a way the Epsom versions are not. It settles when set down, moulds under the arm, and the matte surface takes light like velvet. It swallows a day’s kit — wallet, phone, keys, a pouch, a compact — and the zip closes with the leather soft around it rather than fighting back.
Silver hardware keeps the green from veering ornamental; the strap and handle both carry well, and the colour pairs unexpectedly well with grey, navy and denim, all of which calm it down.
Honest notes, two. Clemence is the heaviest leather in this collection, so an already-full bag becomes a real carry by evening. And the slouch means creases at the handle and base are part of the deal from early on; store the bag lightly stuffed if you want the dome to recover. If you need armour-straight lines, this is the wrong leather — the crisp Epsom versions are the right ones.
If you want the bag people ask about at dinner, this is the one, and the green has never once been a mistake.
