Green is a slow conversion. I resisted for two seasons, then a friend handed me her forest-green wallet for a week and I stopped arguing. Vert Mangrove is that kind of green: deep, slightly blue, the colour of a pond under trees, and it makes black look tired within a minute of standing next to it.
Twenty-one wide, sixteen tall, twelve deep, in Evercolor and Swift with gold hardware. The pressed grain lets the dye sit deep and even, and the gold looks like underwater light, which suits a colour named after a mangrove. Nothing about the bag feels seasonal. I have carried it in January and in July and it suited both moods without changing its own.
Keys, phone, cards and a flat pouch of earbuds ride inside, and it has become my default choice for dinners where I am the only person I know. Green does not need an outfit; it is the confidence, not the accessory.
One honest month-one note: green asks a little of your wardrobe before it becomes the easy option. Pair it first with greys, denims and camel, keep it away from bright red until you trust yourself, and by week three you will wonder why every bag you own is not this colour. By month three you stop noticing you are wearing green at all, which is the highest state a colour can reach.
Of everything on my shelf, it is the mini I hand to people when they ask which colour they should dare to buy.
