Vert Yucca is the green of the plant it is named for: upright, silvered, almost blue where the light catches it. Worn with denim and white it looks like a gardener’s holiday; worn with camel it looks like an old money estate — the colour is a performer, whatever your plans.
The bag is a compact 18 cm bucket that wears its green lightly, thanks to the leather. Taurillon Clemence is thick and pebbled, with the matte finish that keeps saturated colours from turning plasticky, and the silver hardware reads crisp and modern against the deeper green notes. The Picotin frame is all accounted for: rolled handle, soft base, straps gathered at the little lock.
Inside goes a phone, a compact wallet, keys, a lip balm and a small linen pouch with the odd receipt in it. The bucket shape keeps tall objects upright and short ones visible from above, which I appreciate more than I expected.
It gave me a colour habit I did not know I had: green boots in autumn, a green scarf in spring, this bag in both seasons. One wipe-down a week is the entire regimen.
Honest counsel: green is the most opinionated neutral there is, and this shade picks favourites — creams, tans, denims and greys all flatter it; hot pinks and oranges will argue loudly. And the leather, being Clemence, will relax and puddle gently with use. If you like structure above all, walk on; if you like personality, step in.
