Vert Comics is a green that could not exist quietly — 0T is vivid, saturated and slightly acid — and on Swift, which takes dye like blotting paper, it becomes lush rather than harsh. This Kelly Mini 2 is the softest version of the loudest colour, a contradiction it carries off beautifully.
Swift’s smooth, satin surface drapes just enough that the 19 x 12 x 5.5 cm body hugs the hip on a crossbody strap, and the flap gives a little as the sanglé closure snaps home. Gold hardware is the classic pairing for this green — brass on plant tones is an old alliance and it still works. Phone, card case, keys, lipstick: the mini content list, all of it inside, no stuffing.
Because Swift is the least rigid of the calfskins, this bag sits at the most casual end of the Kelly spectrum: I wear it with canvas, denim, knitwear and everything summer, and it never looks out of place at dinner either. The interior zip pocket and slip pocket are cut precisely for a house key and a metro card, and the clochette hangs loose over the flap like a small green bell.
Honest notes, in the interest of full disclosure: Swift marks more visibly than either Epsom or chèvre — a brush against brick or a car door can leave a faint line, and the leather will relax its shape slightly with years of use. In exchange, no other finish makes this green glow so deeply, and the bag you carry most is rarely the one that stays pristine. If you accept that trade, this is the most alive green I have carried.
