Blue Jean looks like a pair of jeans that have been washed for years. Colour 75 is a mid-blue with a softened, faded quality to it, and on Epsom’s flat grain it stays gentle rather than saturated — no electric glare, just the sort of blue that has already made peace with everything in your wardrobe.
Silver hardware is the correct pairing and the reason is denim itself: cool metal matches the faintly grey shadow that lives in the colour. Gold would drag it somewhere dressier and a little confused. The Epsom surface, meanwhile, is doing its usual work — pressed, firm, rain-friendly, and holding the bag’s architecture so the blue sits smoothly across the panel.
It holds a phone, a cardholder, keys and a lipstick, the standard contents of 19 x 12 x 5.5 cm. It is not an evening bag and does not try to be. I wear mine with white, with grey, with everything denim and with every casual coat I own, and it slots in without effort every time.
Honest note: faded blue is the hardest colour to photograph honestly, in any setting, and it can shift noticeably between screens. If you can see one of these in daylight first, do — the real colour is softer and slightly dustier than most images suggest.
For a casual wardrobe with a single small bag in it, this is a quietly excellent choice.
