Fuchsia is a decision, and 5J makes the decision easy by being uncompromising: a deep, electric pink-magenta that turns a small bag into an event. I bought this Kelly Mini 2 for a milestone birthday and have worn it far more since than I expected — festival pink, apparently, has a longer season than fashion assumes.
Epsom is the right leather for the colour: its embossed surface holds saturated dye without darkening at the grain, so the fuchsia stays clean and flat across the flap and gussets. Silver hardware is the cooler, more modern pairing; against this pink, palladium reads almost graphic. The 19 x 12 x 5.5 cm interior takes phone, card case, keys and a lipstick, and the strap crosses the body for concerts, weddings and long dinners — situations where I want my hands free and my bag saying something.
How I style it: fuchsia is a soloist. Put it with black, white, denim or grey and let it be the only colour in the room. Paired with other brights it becomes noise; alone it becomes the outfit.
The honest notes: this colour draws attention every single time it leaves the house, so buy it only if that energy is what you are after. Bright Epsom can also show edge wear as lighter tones at the corners after years of use — a colour-neutral balm keeps that in check. Handled as a piece of joy rather than a neutral tool, it earns its keep.
