Two belts in one drawer slot — that is the practical argument for a reversible strap, and the H Infini makes it well. The strap carries the Gold Blanc colorway, a warm tone and a pale one sharing a single length of leather, and the buckle is wrapped in Swift and Epsom calfskin: a leather-covered H that looks softer and less jewelry-like than an all-metal clasp.
The strap itself pairs Box 135 with Togo calfskin, which tells you something about how it wears — one face smooth, one softly pebbled — so the belt has two distinct textures depending on which way you turn it. At 24 millimetres it is a woman’s width: elegant through dress loops, excellent at the waist over a blazer or a shirt-dress, and slim enough to disappear under a cardigan when you want it to.
Sizing is where these belts separate the careful from the rushed. The sizes run from 70 to 115, and the number is your waist or hip measurement in centimetres, not your jeans size. Measure where you actually plan to wear it — the narrowest point matters most for a 24 mm belt — and if you are between two numbers, size up: adding a hole at a cobbler is easy, living with a belt that never quite closes is not.
My one honest reservation is that leather-wrapped buckles need gentler handling than metal ones. Rings and keys in a drawer will mark the Swift; store the belt rolled, face up, and it will keep the quiet two-tone look that makes it worth choosing over a louder piece.
