Orange and gold is the warmest combination in this range and the least shy. Orange canvas with gold leather trim is autumn in a bag, pumpkin and honey with no apologies, and thirty by twenty-one centimeters of it carries the theme all day without turning into a costume.
Canvas body, Negonda trim, silver snap: the construction is identical to its siblings, so the color does all of the talking. Against chocolate, olive and cream it looks considered; against black it looks like a dare. I wear it most in October, when the trees agree with it and the wool comes back out.
Inside: a scarf, a steel flask, a novel, wallet, phone, keys and the pair of gloves that the evening will demand. Camel, rust and deep green outerwear all sit beside it the way they were asked to. The open top makes swapping the gloves for sunglasses an easy gesture as the day warms, the kind of small usefulness that keeps a bag in rotation across whole seasons rather than just one.
The honest downside: there is no cool note anywhere in this composition, so under a low gray sky it can look heavy, and it will never be the bag that disappears into your outfit. Buy it for the warmth it brings on days when the weather brings none of its own. It also collects compliments from strangers, a small fact about this colorway that I report as an observation rather than a pitch.
