Packed this bracelet for a week in the south of France a couple of summers ago and it never came off. Orange Fruite is a true ripe-orange enamel, deeper than tangerine and with enough pigment to hold its colour in sunlight, which matters on a bracelet that spends the day outdoors. On yellow gold the whole thing looks like a peeled fruit, in the best way.
This one is the narrow Clic H, cut for a 6.7 inch wrist and a band of roughly 0.47 inches, plain enamel, and the toggle clasp, which turns to show an H and locks closed. The size suits most wrists without adjustment, and the slim profile means it slides under a rolled sleeve at dinner when the light goes orange.
Colour advice from the converted: let orange do the talking and keep the outfit quiet. White cotton, faded denim, sand linen and chambray all work, and against a tan the enamel looks like it was always part of the holiday wardrobe. In town, I wear it with a grey sweatshirt and nothing else bright, which sounds odd and looks deliberate.
The honest note: orange is the least universal colour in this range, so if your wardrobe runs cool and pale you may find it lonely rather than lively. It is also a surface that shows scratches from hard knocks like any glossy enamel, so treat it as glass. Wipe it dry after wear and keep perfume off it. Made in France.
