I wore this one on a pale morning in early spring, and it made the grey coat I was tired of look new. Blue Lin is a light, powdery blue, gentler than the colder shades in this line and warmer than grey, and it behaves like a neutral with a lift built in. A white shirt and this bag is a complete outfit, in my opinion.
Just over nine inches wide, the Mini holds a phone, a card case, keys and lip balm, and the adjustable strap crosses the body at exactly the height I want with a coat on. The gold hardware warms the pale blue rather than fighting it, a pairing that looks softer than silver would. The bag sits crossbody without riding up, which some minis cannot manage.
Evercolor’s grain under this colour looks slightly sugared, even and fine, and the bag keeps its shape well for something so light. It photographs beautifully, which I mention because some colours in this family simply do not. It is the lightest-feeling colour in the family, and the easiest to photograph.
The honest limitation is seasonality: Blue Lin is the least neutral of the pale options, a colour summer loves and that a black winter outfit will argue with. Know that before you fall for it, and it will earn its keep nine months of the year. In its season it earns its place among the most-carried bags I own.
