Lagon is a lagoon teal, sitting between blue and green with a little grey in the mix so it never tips into a bright tropical shade. It is one of those leather colours that changes with the light: bluer indoors, more green outdoors.
The bag is the familiar 25 cm frame in French Togo, which puts it at roughly twenty-five across the base, twenty high and thirteen deep, with silver-tone hardware. The pebble grain gives the teal a matte, almost sea-worn texture. In evening light it settles into a deep green-blue that looks closer to petrol than to teal.
For daily use it takes a phone, a card case, keys, a compact and a small pouch without effort. The soft walls flex around the contents and the two rolled handles are easy to hook over a wrist while paying for coffee.
One honest note on mid-tone blues and greens: they are harder to pair than they look, because Lagon reads cool next to warm colours and warm next to cool ones. It is at its best with white, grey, navy and denim, and it can clash gently with bright orange or strong red. Mine has kept its colour well; the only change is a faint lightening where the handles are gripped.
Mine has kept its colour even after a summer of daylight, and the silver plates have only faint surface marks from regular use.
