If a bag could be a trench coat, this is it. S2 Trench is a warm beige with a hint of khaki — not sugary, not grey — and it makes everything next to it look considered. Jeans on Saturday, a black dress at dinner; the bag never looks out of place.
Evercolor gives the dome a gentler silhouette than Epsom would. The grain is fine and close, the hand soft but not slouchy, and the leather absorbs light rather than reflecting it, which flatters the color. Gold hardware on Trench is a classic pairing — the tones belong to the same family.
What fits: a zip wallet, phone, keys in a pouch, sunglasses, a thin notepad for meetings and a water bottle at the corner. The interior is one uncluttered cavity with a flat pocket, and the 25 x 20 x 10 cm shell adds up to more than the photos suggest.
Weekends suit it as well as offices. I have taken it to market under a canvas jacket and to dinner with a black knit, and it averaged those extremes without effort. If you are assembling a small wardrobe of bags, this is the one that behaves like two — structured enough for work, soft enough for Sundays.
An honest observation after carrying it through a rainy week: Evercolor darkens slightly where water sits, then dries back even. It has not stained, but I now keep a soft cloth in the car on wet days. Beige this good is worth a little attention.
