Black and lime in one bag is a listing you either understand at once or scroll past, and I understand it. The noir does the serious work and the lime does the remembering — a flash of sharp green against dark chevre that turns a small, correct bag into something with a pulse.
Chevre is the right body for this trick. The goat grain is fine and slightly matte, so the black half stays black rather than shining, and the lime half stays acidic rather than neon. It is also the lightest of the calfskin-family leathers, which matters when a bag lives on a wrist or in a hand for a whole evening. Silver hardware keeps the temperature of the whole thing cool.
What goes inside 19 x 12 x 5.5 cm: phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick. What comes out of it: comments, mostly. I wear it with black outfits specifically, so the lime reads as a decision rather than a mismatch.
Honest note: this is a committed bag. If you want one small black bag that sinks into everything, the lime vetoes that plan, and the pairing will not rescue an outfit that was already busy. Buy it because of the green, not despite it.
As a second bag that punches well above its size, it has no competition in my cupboard. Worn with black from collar to cuff, it does the work of jewellery.
