The Robeo 24 is the Rodeo with a wardrobe: a horse, a 24 detail on the flank, and a little blanket that unclips so you can swap it for another. Mine came in Craie with Terre and Naples-yellow accents, and I bought a second blanket within a month. The 24 sits stitched small on the flank, a wink rather than a badge.
At L 8.5 x H 7.5 x D 2 cm it is squatter than the classic Rodeo, and the extra depth is the blanket lying flat. The lambskin is Milo — soft enough that the horse squishes slightly in the hand, which is either charming or alarming until you get used to it. The blanket sits so flat that the silhouette stays neat in a pocket, and the ears stay upright on a shelf, which feels important for a horse.
My weekend ritual: coffee, a quick brush of the mane, then a decision about which blanket suits the day’s bag. Grey blanket for a work look, the yellow one for anything involving sunshine. It sounds ridiculous written down; in practice it is the best small pleasure of my week, and my partner now performs the same ritual with hers.
The honest note concerns the clips that hold the blanket — they are tiny, and a rushed swap in a coat pocket is how they get lost. Do the changeover on a table, where the pieces cannot roll away, and this charm gives you two looks for the space of one. Buying the second blanket, incidentally, was the easiest decision of the year.
