Fire orange, purple and a scoop of cream — the final colorway in this batch is also the most sunlit. The trio reads like a sunset over rooftops, and it brings that warmth to saddle-brown or chocolate bags especially well.
Milo lambskin and Swift calfskin divide the work as usual: the lambskin supplies an orange with real glow, while the smoother Swift keeps the purple and cream clean-edged. Nothing metallic is involved, so the charm makes no sound against the bag and leaves no trace on whatever it touches.
At roughly 9.7 by 7.8 centimetres and a centimetre deep, it sits inside a coat pocket without being noticed until you want it, then loops over a handle in one uncomplicated movement. Weight is negligible; presence is not, and at this scale that is precisely the balance a charm should strike.
Where it works hardest: autumn leathers, terracotta knits, denim jackets and cream linen — warm cloth for a warm charm. It is not the piece for a chilly grey suit; the sunset needs something that answers it, and a cold grey answers nothing.
The only caution: three strong colors need a supporting cast, and this charm will not flatter an outfit that is already busy. On browns, creams, denim and black it is magnificently warm; on stripes, checks and prints it is one element too many. Choose the bag first — this one asks for that.
