Compared with the MC² Euclide, this R.M.S. card holder is the thicker, more architectural object: 10.5 by 7 cm with a full 2 cm of depth, which does not sound like much until you feel how solidly it sits in a hand. Cards go in edge-on, and the enamel fittings set it apart from anything plain.
Gris Meyer is a soft, warm grey, and on Evecolor’s fine grain it reads like good flannel. The 2 cm body means the holder stands on a desk without support, which sounds trivial until you are at a counter and want to set it down while you sign something.
Capacity is a comfortable six cards plus a folded note, and the interior faces are smooth enough that cards slide without scuffing. Because the depth is real, nothing bends or fans out when the holder is full, and the corners of the leather stay square.
Honest notes: the enamel detail is a surface you should not test against keys, and the extra centimetre of bulk over a flat holder is noticeable in a slim trouser pocket. Carried in a jacket or a bag, it has been nothing but practical, and the grey has stayed presentable without any conditioning.
Where it fits: a desk at the office, a shirt pocket at a wedding, the front pocket of a jacket that already carries a phone. It never crowds anything, and the weight in the hand is oddly satisfying. For anyone who likes objects with a little substance, this is the card holder to handle first.
