Packing for a trip is when this bag makes its case. Blue Saphir canvas is a proper deep blue, closer to a swimming-pool tile than to sky, and the Toile H construction keeps it thin and light: it goes into a carry-on without theater and comes out with its shape, leather still structured, canvas still flat.
Walking through an airport with one bag, I notice the difference most at hour five, when the shoulder stops keeping score. Same dimensions as a leather 25, 25 x 17 x 7 cm, roughly two-thirds of the weight, and the Swift leather trim holds the silhouette exactly where the canvas needs it.
Silver hardware keeps the blue cool and slightly nautical; worn against a navy blazer it tones cleanly, worn against white it reads graphic.
Carry capacity fits the traveler’s arithmetic: passport in the flat pocket, phone, cardholder, keys, adapters zipped away, licorice for the flight. That is a complete hand-carry list, and the bag swallows it with room left for a paperback.
Two honest notes: canvas responds poorly to heavy rain, and adjacent-pale canvas will pick up grime at the base corners with real miles on it. A spell with mild soap has managed mine so far, but expect the signs of travel, not showroom floors. Given how game it is about being tossed in and out of taxis, that seems a fair trade.
