Blue Lin is a washed, greyish blue that behaves like a neutral in summer. It is the colour of old linen, hence the name, and it is the bag I carry most from May to September, usually against white or stone.
In the small size, Clemence’s grain gives that pale blue real depth; it never looks watery or faded the way a printed swatch can. Silver hardware is the natural partner, and the cut-out H across the front catches shadow at an angle, which is the closest thing to a logo on the whole bag. The frame is 16 cm tall, 18 cm wide and 5 cm deep, and the adjustable strap makes it a crossbody for most heights.
What fits, honestly: a phone, a compact wallet, keys and a lipstick, plus sunglasses if they go in soft cloth. It is a day-out bag rather than an errand-sweeping one, which is a distinction I have learned to respect. Worn crossbody under a light coat, it almost disappears, which is exactly what I want in summer heat.
My one warning concerns pale leather generally: the greyer the blue, the more denim transfer matters. Mine has stayed clean because I keep it away from raw jeans, and I would suggest the same.
A quiet, cool companion for warm months, and a good first Evelyne if you dress in light colours and want the bag to match your mood as much as your clothes.
