I first carried this bag to a Saturday market and came home with the better half of the colours in it. Jaune Naples is a saturated, sunlit yellow, warmer than lemon and cleaner than mustard, and against silver hardware it looks crisp rather than retro. It is the bag I pack when a trip needs one bright thing in an otherwise grey suitcase.
Just under 20 cm across, at 19 cm, it is a true mini: a phone, keys, a folded note and a lipstick, with a cardholder slipped into the flat pocket. The strap crosses the body comfortably and the flap opens wide enough that I never have to tip the bag towards me to find something.
Epsom keeps this much colour in line. The embossed grain is uniform and firm, so the yellow reads the same shade across the whole bag with no stretching or pooling, and the surface handles the abrasion that comes with a bag you take everywhere. The silver clasp is the only cool note and it sharpens everything.
Honest note: yellow changes personality under artificial light, reading slightly greenish in some offices. In daylight, and especially with white, denim or olive, it is a genuine mood-lifter. Choose it for joy, not for camouflage. A season of hard use has left every edge crisp and the colour unfaded, and it has become my default for travel days when one bright object does the work of a whole outfit.
