Pink wallets divide people, and the wrong pink does look like an afterthought. Rose Lipstick is not that. It is a saturated, slightly blue-leaning pink that holds its own beside gold hardware rather than dissolving into it, and in daylight it reads closer to raspberry than to bubblegum.
Epsom keeps the colour honest. Its embossed grain is flat and sealed, so there is no soft sheen developing in a pocket and no mottling where the hide bends. The size works for me too: at twelve centimetres wide this wallet fits a clutch, yet the pressed leather is rigid enough to stand up on a restaurant table without sagging into a puddle of itself.
I run cards through the four slots, keep a slim stack of notes in the bill pocket, let coins rattle quietly in the zip, and tuck appointment cards into the flat pockets. The H tab takes a deliberate press to open, which I like on a wallet this bright, because it never pops loose at the bottom of a bag.
The trade-off with a shade this vivid is that marks do not blend in. A stray pen line or a scrape from keys has nowhere to hide on rose. Mine has stayed clean because I give it a pocket of its own. If your wallet shares space with everything else, a darker colour of the same Bearn will forgive you more.
