Orange leather is this house’s signature for a reason, and at Mini 18 scale it turns almost playful — a peeled tangerine in the crook of an arm. I have tested this bag against an all-grey outfit and an all-cream one. It rescued both; neither looked finished without it, and I mean that literally.
The goatskin grain shows through the saturated dye, giving the surface depth rather than a plastic gloss. Chèvre is also the lightest leather in the family, and at this size the bag weighs next to nothing. Silver hardware is a deliberate contrast here — icy against citrus, sharper than warm metal would be.
Inside: phone, keys, a card sleeve, one lipstick, and a compact if I leave the card sleeve at home. The cavity is palm-sized — eighteen centimetres of width, deep as a thick paperback — and the flat pocket at the back keeps cards from swimming around.
One styling thought: the signature orange is at its best when it is the only saturated thing you wear — white shirt and denim, a grey knit and trousers, a black dress at night. Treat it as the accent and it flatters everything; wear it next to other brights and the conversation gets crowded.
Two things to accept before choosing it. Orange marks where it rubs, and light dresses pick up a tint from a wet bag in summer rain. Keep it dry, keep it clean, and this is the most fun you can have with a plain black outfit.
