Silver is the honest metal. It shows exactly how you treat it, and that is the first thing I say to anyone considering the Kelly Gourmette in 925 silver: sixteen and eight tenths of a centimetre around the interior, six millimetres wide, made in Italy, with the Kelly buckle worked flat into the front of a curb chain.
I have worn mine for months, including through a wet commute, and it has taken on the soft grey lustre that sterling gets when it lives on a wrist rather than in a box. Some people chase that patina, others want the bright new look. If you are in the second group, a silver cloth once a week keeps it close to day one.
Sizing deserves thought, because nothing here adjusts. At 16.8 cm it is a true medium; on me it sits just under the wrist bone and slides up the forearm while I am typing. If you are between sizes, decide by whether you want the bracelet to move or to stay put, then live with that choice.
The narrow width is what makes it easy. It stacks next to a watch without scraping, reads casual with a white shirt, and disappears under a cuff. Trade-offs: the clasp is deliberately small and takes a moment to find in low light, and silver dents more readily than gold if you knock it against a doorframe. Both of those come with the metal rather than with this design.
