Within the Kelly Chaine family, this yellow gold version with six diamonds is the quieter sister. The stones sit at intervals along a slender motif about an inch and a half across, four hundredths of a carat between them, so the bracelet leans on the metal and the link work rather than on sparkle.
Yellow gold does that job well against denim and camel. I wore mine through a winter of dark trousers and grey knitwear, and it was the single warm point in an otherwise cold outfit, which is exactly what this colour is for. In daylight it glints; under restaurant lighting the diamonds all but disappear, and I am quite content with that.
The clasp is small and sits close to the skin, and the chain moves without a sound, so it never announces itself from under a cuff. Sizing runs to a standard interior, and on me it settles just above the wrist bone, where it can push up the forearm when I type. If the rest of your jewellery is yellow gold, this is the version that will live with it instead of beside it.
Two caveats, plainly. Six tiny diamonds are decoration rather than an heirloom, so read this as a gold bracelet with a few bright points. And the links are soft, so I keep it off the same wrist as a heavy bangle that would knock dents into it. Made in France, 750/1000 gold.
