Grey, black and chestnut should not be interesting together, but Gris Misty is the hinge: a cool, misty grey that makes the noir look softer and the Alezan look warmer. I bought this colourway specifically for work travel, where a bag has to survive a taxi, a meeting and a dinner without a costume change, and it has done exactly that.
Epsom calfskin is the practical backbone: pressed grain, rigid panels, and a surface that ignores scratches from zips and keys. The 19cm size reads small but swallows a phone, a cardholder, a lipstick and keys with a tidy logic that soft hides cannot match, and everything sits where you left it.
Silver hardware keeps the trio cool and slightly serious, which suits the grey; the turn-lock clicks firmly, and the long strap makes the bag genuinely hands-free, which is why it travels with me.
Honestly, the one thing I would change is the capacity, because this is a bag for essentials only, and anyone who carries a power bank and a paperback will find it too disciplined. For me that discipline is the point: the bag never gets heavy on a long day, and it disappears into charcoal wool and navy in the best way.
After a year of this routine I would buy it again without hesitating; the only thing I would add is a second one in a louder colour for weekends, which is the clearest endorsement I can give.
